2001:

Porthpyra Singers - 26th April 2001

Following last year's very popular concert, we are delighted that the Porthpyra Singers returned to Herodsfoot this spring.  The concert was held in the Church and was a great success. The Concert on Thursday raised 186.

Jumble Sale - Saturday 28th April

A sale of jumble and other items was held in the Long Room, Public Hall, Liskeard. 9:30am - 12:30pm. The Jumble Sale raised 202.59 and with some miscellaneous sales money a total of 402.59 has been added to the restoration fund from the two April events making a total of 19,440.32.

St Pinnock Band - Sunday 6th May

The St Pinnock Band joined us on the village green for open air hymns. Some 60 people attended the service.

General Village Open Meeting - Tuesday 8th May

A general village open meeting was held to discuss future plans and events. Also discussed were plans to upgrade and expand the scope of herodsfoot-Online - watch this space!

Churchyard Maintenance Afternoon - Sunday 1st July.

The Churchyard maintenance afternoon was followed by picnic tea in the Churchyard, followed by Songs of praise at 6:30pm in All Saints, then jacket potatoes from the bonfire in the Glebe Field.

St Mewan Sinfonia - Sunday 8th July

St Mewan Sinfonia returned again this year in support of of the All Saints Church Restoration Fund - another excellent performance in the Church.

Herodsfoot Fete - Saturday 11th August.

Held in The Old Vicarage gardens, by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Mandl this was great fun and a great success with almost 1000 raised.
