Wednesday 21st March - APCM 7.30pm in the church – the APCM (annual parochial church meeting) is open to all, so it would be lovely to see
everyone. Tuesday 5th June Herodsfoot Village Bash – Spring Bank Holiday – a combined Queen’s Jubilee Celebration (with Cream Tea in the afternoon) followed by the Herodsfoot Village Bash on the Green from 6.00pm till late. Please bring a bottle and food for sharing. More information from Anita Bishop/Ian Gordon.Saturday 28th July - Annual Village Ram Roast and Duck Race on the village green All proceeds to All Saints Church - In 2012 everyone who is anyone was there! Don't miss the 2012 event! In 2011 an amazing total of £1181 was raised for All Saints which is vital for us to continue to keep the Church open. This is particularly important in Herodsfoot, as All Saints is the only public space in the village; with no village hall or community centre, the Church acts as a centre for the whole community and is a resource for all. In addition, the raffle for BBC Radio Cornwall’s Phoenix stroke appeal raised £100. Particular thanks to Sheryll Murray MP and Cllr Bernie Ellis for their attendance and support.
Sunday 12th August – All Saints Church Fete on the Village Green 2.00pm Harvest Thanksgiving Service and auction at All Saints Church.
The Harvest Festival Service will be held at All Saints Church (date TBA) followed by the Auction - Tea, Coffee and Nibbles. Please leave any produce/donations for the Auction at the Church on Saturday or Sunday morning, or bring with you to the Service. (If delivery is a problem we can organise collection – please contact Cathy/Trixie).
